Sawatdee Bii Mai Ka! (Happy New Year)
We hope this update finds you well and your new year off to an amazing start!  We are in the heat of winter season in Thailand... literally, enjoying days in the mid-80s.  We have much to update you on from this month, and also wanted to give a more full “recap” of the CM 2007 conference that we helped to host for over 600 college students in Thailand!

This month we were part of the “Mid-Year Conference” - a gathering for all STINTers in Asia.  We joined with over 200 American and Canadian college students who are taking the initiative to share the Gospel with college students in countries all over Asia.  This four day conference (held in Chiang Mai) was a great time of reflection - looking at the ways we have seen God show His faithfulness in life and ministry.  We talked a lot about the idea of “living water” and how we experience that in our Christian lives through walking in fellowship with Jesus.  In this, we also realized that so often we move away from experiencing Christ daily- and how much we miss out on as a result.   It was so encouraging to talk to other STINTers who have had many of the same experiences we have had over the last few months - of learning a new culture and world.

This past week we have had a team of Korean students join us on campus to share Jesus with Rajabhat students.  Thai students have great admiration for Koreans and are drawn to talk to them and want to spend time getting to know them.  Throughout the week, we have helped the Koreans host three evangelistic events that incorporate Korean culture (dance, music and tae-kwon-do) with the Gospel message.  It has created a great opportunity for many Thai students to hear and respond to the Gospel for the first time.  One of these parties early this week saw eight students come to know Christ!  Please pray that we will be able to meet with and follow up with these new believers in the weeks to come.

We are in the final few weeks of the semester at Rajabhat University, so please pray that these weeks ahead could be a time of fruitful ministry.  Thank you so much for your continued thoughts and prayers for us - your encouragement gives us such a boost!  Thank you also for partnering with us through your financial support, we are so grateful for you all.
