We wanted to periodically feature Thai staff members on our website, so you can feel more connected to the amazing people and ministry that is going on in Thailand with CCC. Like American CCC staff members, all Thai staff members raise financial support to fund their ministries. His TestimonyI wasn’t born in a Christian family. I have a brother and sister but we were separated since we were very young, my parents were kind of strict, while I felt like I wanted to do things like others and needed friends. When I graduated from junior high school, I moved to another school in the city. This made me able to do many things like all of my new friends did so that they could accept me and belong to their group. For example, gathering as a gang together to argue and fight everyday, drinking heavily and even using drugs. I did these bad things 3 years until I began to see my own life better. I thought, I only have one life and it’s only a game that I have to win. I had to gain the most advantage for myself to the point that I became a very aggressive person. One day when I came home, I found a booklet called "The 4 Spiritual Laws". After I read it I threw it away because I thought GOD had nothing to do with me. But those words were stuck in my heart. It brought me to the questions "Is life really a game?" or "why are we born?" My life risked danger everyday and I didn’t know when I might die. I began to want to know GOD and I went to the library to borrow a Bible to read. But I had not yet received GOD in to my life.
Finally I moved to Chiang Mai and I met my brother’s friend. That was how I heard of "The 4 Spiritual Laws" again. I opened my heart and received Jesus Christ into my life through personal prayer. I became a Christian on March 13, 2001. When I come to know GOD I found the best friend in Jesus Christ. It has been 4 year already that I have had personal experience with GOD. GOD has been working in me and gave me the desire to tell about His love to other people. My favorite verse of the bible is Philippians 3.13
"Brethren, I do not consider that I have made it on my own, but this thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead." My brother and my sister received Jesus Christ too but same time didn’t same place I thanks GOD for His plan is best and I believe GOD have good time for my parent too and I pray for them always.
P'K has been a great encouragement to us during our time spent in Chiang Mai. Jonathan has gotten to work with him on artistic projects- and has been blown away by his talent and creativity! We also joined with him on trips to villages at Christmas time and had a great time getting to know him better. He has an amazing heart for reaching his campus for the Gospel.
